Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1 cup warm water (about 110°F)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well.
- Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 30-45 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
- Transfer the dough to a greased baking sheet. Brush the melted butter over the top.
- Sprinkle the garlic powder and Italian seasoning evenly over the dough.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Use a pizza cutter to slice the dough into sticks.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
