Delicious turkey sliders topped with creamy avocado and spicy chipotle mayo, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 8 slider buns
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon chipotle sauce (or to taste)
- Lettuce leaves, for serving
- Sliced tomatoes, for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- While the patties are cooking, mix the mayonnaise and chipotle sauce in a small bowl to create the chipotle mayo.
- Toast the slider buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
- Assemble the sliders by spreading chipotle mayo on the bottom half of each bun, adding a turkey patty, a slice of avocado, lettuce, and tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For added flavor, mix in chopped fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro into the turkey mixture.
- Substitute ground turkey with ground chicken or lean beef for a different taste.
