Description
Garlic Parmesan Buffalo Wings are a crispy and flavorful dish that combines the heat of buffalo sauce with the rich taste of garlic and Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- 3 pounds chicken wings
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce by combining hot sauce and butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss until fully coated.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the wings and toss again. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the hot sauce mixture.
- For a milder version, use barbecue sauce instead of hot sauce.
