Clarendon Fund Scholarship is a fully funded, merit-based scholarship offered annually to excellent students interested in masters and Ph.D. studies at the University of Oxford.

Scholarship Value:
Clarendon scholarships cover full tuition fees to students with Home, EU, and international fee status.
Applicants who are enrolled in a full-time study program will receive an annual grant to cover living costs of at least the minimum Research Council doctoral stipend rate, which is normally adequate to meet the living expenses of a single student living in Oxford. In 2020-21, applicants should expect to receive a grant of at least £15,009.
Scholarship Duration:
Clarendon scholarships are normally granted for the full period of course fees liability. In some cases, the academic division has the discretion to extend the scholarship duration to cover an additional period of study where the program is known to require additional time. The extension period of the scholarship applies to living expenses only.
Eligible countries:
There is no restriction on nationalities, students can apply from any place in the world.

All full-time DPhil and Master’s courses available at the university of oxford are eligible for the Clarendon Fund Scholarship.
Eligibility requirements:
Applicants must be able to demonstrate an outstanding academic record
Candidates must be applying to start a new doctoral degree or master’s course at the university of oxford.
Students who are currently studying for a Master’s or a DPhil degree at the university of oxford are not eligible for this scholarship, unless if they will be applying for a second Master’s study program or re-applying for a DPhil
Applicants who hold a deferred graduate offer are not eligible for this scholarship
How to apply:
Students don’t need to apply for the scholarship separately. They will be automatically examined for the Clarendon scholarship once they apply for graduate study with no need of apply for it or submitting additional documents.
