This cheesy, hearty crockpot baked ziti brings the comfort of classic pasta bake without the need to boil noodles—perfect for busy nights.
Ingredients
- Uncooked ziti pasta
- Marinara sauce
- Ricotta cheese
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Parmesan cheese
- Italian seasoning
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
- Spray crockpot with nonstick spray.
- Layer pasta, marinara, dollops of ricotta, shredded cheese, and seasoning.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
- Cover and cook on low for 2–3 hours, or until pasta is tender.
- Top with more cheese and basil before serving.
Notes
- No need to pre-boil the pasta! Be sure to use plenty of sauce to prevent drying out.
