Inspired by the viral “marry me” recipes, this creamy shrimp pasta is so irresistible it just might win someone’s heart—with sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and parmesan in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne or rigatoni
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add shrimp and cook until pink, then set aside.

  • In the same skillet, add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes, cook for 1 minute.

  • Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and stir in parmesan and chili flakes.

  • Return shrimp and pasta to the pan, toss to coat.

  • Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
