Description
This quick and easy ground turkey teriyaki stir fry is packed with colorful vegetables and bold Asian-inspired flavor. It’s a delicious 20-minute dinner option that’s perfect over rice, noodles, or lettuce wraps.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot julienned
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Add garlic and ginger, stir for 1 minute.
- Stir in bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Cook for 5–6 minutes until tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and cornstarch slurry. Pour into skillet and stir to coat.
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Use tamari for gluten-free. Add crushed red pepper for spice.
- Serve with jasmine rice or cauliflower rice.
