Description
Brazilian Lemonade is a refreshing and creamy beverage made with limes, sugar, and sweetened condensed milk, perfect for hot days.
Ingredients
- 2 medium limes, quartered
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups cold water
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- Ice cubes
- Lime slices, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the quartered limes and granulated sugar. Pulse a few times until the limes are roughly chopped.
- Add the cold water to the blender and blend on high for about 30 seconds.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pitcher to remove the pulp and seeds.
- Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
- Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lime slices if desired.
Notes
- For a creamier version, substitute half of the sweetened condensed milk with coconut milk.
- For a refreshing twist, add a handful of fresh mint leaves to the blender before blending.
