  • 1 cup Shredded chicken Seasoned variety is preferred.
  • 1 cup Ground beef Seasoned for flavor.
  • 1 cup Refried beans Great vegetarian option.
  • 2 cups Lettuce Chopped for topping.
  • 1 cup Salsa Choose based on spice preference.
  • 1/2 cup Olives Sliced.
  • 1 cup Cheese Queso fresco or cheddar, melted or crumbled.
  • 1 cup Guacamole For topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Arrange the corn tortillas on the prepared baking sheet without overlapping.
  3. Lightly spray both sides of each tortilla with olive oil or avocado oil, then sprinkle with kosher salt.
  4. Bake the tortillas for about 5 minutes, flip them over, and continue baking for an additional 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Remove the tostadas from the oven, transfer to a plate lined with paper towels, and let them cool.
  6. Top each tostada with your choice of shredded chicken, beef, beans, lettuce, salsa, olives, cheese, and guacamole.
