Preparation Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine well-drained Quark, flour, sugar, egg, baking powder, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms, adding vanilla or lemon zest if desired.
  2. Preheat your Air Fryer to 180°C (356°F) for about 5 minutes according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Roll portions of dough into balls about the size of a tablespoon. You should have 12-15 balls.
  4. Spray the Air Fryer basket with neutral oil to prevent sticking and arrange the balls in a single layer.
  5. Cook the balls in the preheated Air Fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  6. Let the balls cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
