Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-low or preheat a panini press to medium-high.
  2. Spread apple butter on one side of each slice of whole wheat bread.

  4. Butter the outer sides of the sandwiches for grilling.
