In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast. Mix well.
Slowly add the warm water and stir until a rough dough forms.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. If using a stand mixer, knead on medium speed for 5-6 minutes.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 60-90 minutes or until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and shape it into a round or oval loaf. Place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet or into a greased loaf pan.
Cover the dough loosely and let it rise again for 30-45 minutes until slightly puffed.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Once the dough has risen, bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing. Serve fresh or toasted.
