Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 2 ounces of cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 ounces of mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 slices of cooked bacon chopped
  • 1/2 ripe avocado sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  4. Layer the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, chopped bacon, and avocado slices on top of the bread in the skillet.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  7. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the bottom slice is golden brown.
  8. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from the skillet, let cool for a minute, then slice in half and serve.
