Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
Prepare the Chicken and Vegetables:
- Cut the chicken breasts into thin strips.

Season the Chicken and Veggies:
- In a large mixing bowl, drizzle the chicken strips with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- Add the fajita seasoning to the chicken and toss until evenly coated.
- Add the sliced bell peppers and red onion to the bowl and toss everything together to ensure the veggies are also coated with the seasoning.
Cook in the Air Fryer:
- Place the seasoned chicken and vegetables in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.
- Cook at 390°F (200°C) for 15 minutes, tossing the ingredients halfway through to ensure even browning.
Serve the Fajitas:
- Once cooked, transfer the chicken and veggies to a serving platter.
- Serve with warmed tortillas and your favorite toppings such as guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, or avocado slices.
Notes
- Adjust the Heat: For spicier fajitas, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder to the fajita seasoning.
- Storage: Store leftover chicken and veggies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheating: Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 375°F for 3-5 minutes until warmed through.
- Freezing Option: You can freeze the seasoned, uncooked chicken and veggies in a freezer-safe bag. When ready to cook, thaw in the refrigerator and air fry as directed.
- Customizable Add-Ins: Add zucchini, mushrooms, or cherry tomatoes for extra flavor and texture.
