  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 4 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Pour in the yeast mixture, along with 1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter, 1/2 cup of water, and 1 large egg. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise for 1 hour.
