Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil until combined. Add your ground beef, ensuring it's evenly coated with the marinade. Cover and let marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Divide the beef mixture into equal portions, shaping each into a patty about ¾ inch thick. Place the patties on a plate and let them rest.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F (200°C). Lightly oil the grill grates.
  4. Cook the patties on the grill for about 5-6 minutes on each side, reaching an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C) for medium.
  5. Toast the burger buns cut-side down on the grill for about 2-3 minutes until lightly golden.
