Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce optional
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet for crispier wings.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken wings and toss until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar, melted butter, apple cider vinegar, and hot sauce (if using). Pour this mixture over the seasoned wings and toss to coat thoroughly.
  4. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
