Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by heating 1 cup of water in a saucepan over medium heat until it simmers, but does not boil. Add 1 tablespoon of dried culinary lavender to the water. Steep for about 5 minutes.
  2. While lavender is steeping, add desired amount of honey or sugar to two teacups and stir to incorporate.
  3. Strain the lavender infusion through a fine mesh sieve into the teacups, removing the lavender buds. Stir to dissolve sweetener completely.
  4. In a separate saucepan, gently heat 1 cup of milk until it's steaming. Froth if desired for a rich texture.
  5. Carefully pour warmed milk into each teacup, mixing gently. Optionally add a dash of vanilla extract before serving.
