Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
For the Cheesecake Layer:
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Make the brownie batter: mix butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Pour into pan.
  3. For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of cheesecake batter over brownie batter. Swirl with a knife.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until center is set. Cool completely before slicing.
