Cooking Steps
- In a large sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- Add the sliced green bell pepper and yellow onion to the pan, stirring frequently for about 4-5 minutes.
- Push the sautéed veggies to the side and add the Philly sirloin steaks to the hot pan. Cook 3-4 minutes per side.
- Once the sirloin is cooked, slice it into thin strips and return it to the pan. Add frozen cheese tortellini and heavy cream, and stir thoroughly.
- Increase the heat and bring to a gentle boil for about 2-3 minutes, then reduce to a simmer.
- Cover the pan and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the lid and sprinkle shredded provolone cheese over the top. Cover and let it sit for about 2-3 minutes.
- Gently stir to combine the melted cheese throughout the dish. Serve warm.
