Equipment

Method

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add the sliced green bell pepper and yellow onion to the pan, stirring frequently for about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Push the sautéed veggies to the side and add the Philly sirloin steaks to the hot pan. Cook 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Once the sirloin is cooked, slice it into thin strips and return it to the pan. Add frozen cheese tortellini and heavy cream, and stir thoroughly.
  5. Increase the heat and bring to a gentle boil for about 2-3 minutes, then reduce to a simmer.
  6. Cover the pan and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Remove the lid and sprinkle shredded provolone cheese over the top. Cover and let it sit for about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Gently stir to combine the melted cheese throughout the dish. Serve warm.
