Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 package 30 ounces frozen hashbrowns, thawed
  • 1 can 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  3. Fold in the thawed hashbrowns, shredded chicken, and cheddar cheese.
  4. Spread the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  5. Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Add cooked bacon bits for a smoky flavor.
    You can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
    Perfect make-ahead meal for busy nights.
