- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the refrigerated pizza dough into 30 equal squares, each measuring about 2 x 2 inches. Slice the mozzarella sticks into 30 one-inch pieces.
- Wrap each piece of mozzarella tightly with one square of dough, pinching the edges to seal.
- Arrange the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet in a Christmas tree shape.
- Whisk together an egg with a tablespoon of water and brush it over the tops of the dough balls.
- Bake for 16-18 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
- Melt the unsalted butter and stir in minced garlic and half of the grated parmesan.
- Brush the warm Cheesy Christmas Tree Bread with the garlic herb butter and sprinkle the remaining parmesan cheese on top.
- Serve immediately with marinara or pesto for dipping.
