Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the refrigerated pizza dough into 30 equal squares, each measuring about 2 x 2 inches. Slice the mozzarella sticks into 30 one-inch pieces.
  3. Wrap each piece of mozzarella tightly with one square of dough, pinching the edges to seal.
  4. Arrange the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet in a Christmas tree shape.
  5. Whisk together an egg with a tablespoon of water and brush it over the tops of the dough balls.
  6. Bake for 16-18 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Melt the unsalted butter and stir in minced garlic and half of the grated parmesan.
  8. Brush the warm Cheesy Christmas Tree Bread with the garlic herb butter and sprinkle the remaining parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Serve immediately with marinara or pesto for dipping.
