  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm water about 110°F
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 30-45 minutes, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
  7. Transfer the dough to a greased baking sheet. Brush the melted butter over the top.
  8. Sprinkle the garlic powder and Italian seasoning evenly over the dough.
  9. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  10. Use a pizza cutter to slice the dough into sticks.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  12. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
