Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves or 2 tea bags
  • 1 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1/2 cup cherry juice unsweetened
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes optional
  • Fresh cherries for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the Earl Grey tea leaves or tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes for a strong flavor.
  2. Strain the tea into a large pitcher, discarding the leaves or tea bags. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
  3. Once the tea has cooled, stir in the cherry juice, honey (or sweetener), and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. If serving cold, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the cherry Earl Grey mixture over the ice. If serving warm, simply pour the mixture into mugs.
  5. Top each serving with milk, adjusting the amount to your taste preference. Stir gently to combine.
  6. Garnish with fresh cherries if desired and serve immediately.
