Method
 

Instructions
  1. Melt the butter in the microwave and let it cool for about 15 minutes.

  4. In another bowl, mix the melted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
  5. Fold in lemon zest, lemon juice, egg, and egg yolk until pale and slightly thickened.
  6. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Carefully fold in the blueberries, being cautious not to overmix.
  8. Scoop the dough onto prepared sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 14-16 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  10. Cool on the cookie sheets for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
