Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream oil, sugar, maple syrup, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry, stir in raisins or chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheet and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool before serving.

- Use gluten-free oats for a gluten-free option.
- Add chopped walnuts for crunch.
- Chill dough if too soft to handle.
