Chicken Tikka Kebabs are a must-try for flavor!

These vibrant, spicy, and smoky chicken tikka skewers are marinated in yogurt and Indian spices, then grilled or baked to juicy perfection. Perfect for appetizers or mains!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lbs boneless chicken thighs or breasts cut into 1.5-inch cubes
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Skewers wooden or metal

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, spices, and salt to create a marinade.
  2. Add chicken pieces to the marinade. Toss to coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Soak wooden skewers in water (if using) for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat grill or oven to 425°F (220°C).
  5. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.
  6. Grill or bake for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway, until chicken is cooked and slightly charred.
  7. Serve with lemon wedges and cilantro.

Notes

  • You can use an air fryer at 390°F for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • For extra char, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end.
