Method
- Marinate chicken in yogurt, lemon juice, and spices for at least 1 hour.
- Cook marinated chicken in a hot skillet until browned; set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onion, garlic, and ginger in butter until soft.
- Add tomato puree and spices; simmer 10 minutes.
- Stir in cream and add the chicken back to the pan.
- Simmer until thickened and chicken is cooked through. Serve with rice or naan.
Notes
- Marinating overnight enhances the flavor. Use coconut milk instead of cream for a dairy-free version.
