  • 12 ounces carbonated beverage (Sprite, 7Up, etc.) Provides fizz and light sweetness.
For Chilling

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of chopped fresh watermelon with 1 ½ cups of assorted fresh fruits and the drained fruit cocktail. Stir gently for about 1-2 minutes until blended.
  2. Pour 14 ounces of strawberry milk over the fruit mixture and stir gently for 1-2 minutes until combined.
  3. Add 1 cup of ice cubes to the mixture and stir for another minute to chill.
  4. Slowly pour in 12 ounces of carbonated beverage while gently stirring to maintain bubbles. Stir for 30 seconds.
  5. Spoon the Hwachae into glasses or bowls and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately.
