Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup assorted fresh fruit strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, etc.
  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a large pizza pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Spread the cookie dough evenly onto the prepared pizza pan, smoothing it out to the edges.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, spread the whipped cream evenly over the cookie base.
  9. Arrange the assorted fresh fruit on top of the whipped cream in a decorative pattern.
  10. Slice into wedges and serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
