Ingredients

  • 1 package 14 oz chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreos), crushed
  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 packages 3.4 oz each instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 container 8 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • Gummy worms for decoration, optional

Method

  1. Crush the Cookies: Place cookies in a food processor and pulse until they resemble fine crumbs. Set aside.
  2. Make the Creamy Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Prepare the Pudding: In another bowl, whisk together pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract until thickened.
  4. Combine & Fold: Gently fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture, then fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
  5. Layer the Cake: In a serving dish or individual cups, layer half of the crushed cookies, followed by the pudding mixture, then top with the remaining crushed cookies.
  6. Decorate & Chill: Add gummy worms on top for a fun dirt effect. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Use chocolate pudding instead of vanilla for an even richer flavor.
  • Serve in small cups for individual portions.
  • Add candy rocks or edible flowers for a fun twist!
