Method
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Add bread cubes and gently toss. Pour into dish and let soak for 30 minutes or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and set.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve with syrup.
Notes
- Make ahead and chill overnight.
- Use challah, sourdough, or even croissants.
- Top with fruit or nuts for variety.
