Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, large eggs, and vegetable oil. Blend until a smooth, thick dough forms, about 2–3 minutes.
  2. Divide the dough into two portions. In one, add red gel food coloring; in the other, add green gel food coloring. Mix until vibrant and uniform.
  3. Cover both portions and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Scoop equal amounts of red and green dough, roll into balls about 1 inch in diameter, and coat generously with powdered sugar.
  6. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart, and bake in the preheated oven for 9–11 minutes.
  7. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2–3 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
