- In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat a drizzle of oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent.
- Stir in paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add cabbage, carrots, beef broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and uncooked rice. Stir well and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
