Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat a drizzle of oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent.
  2. Stir in paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add cabbage, carrots, beef broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and uncooked rice. Stir well and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Just before serving, stir in lemon juice and garnish with fresh parsley.
