In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ranch dressing mix, and onion soup mix. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Divide the meat mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into patties.
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with shredded cheddar cheese and cover to melt the cheese.
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread this mixture on the inside of each hamburger bun.
Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patties on the buns and adding crumbled bacon, pickles, lettuce, and tomato slices as desired.
