  • 10 leaves Fresh Mint Adjust to taste
  • 6 oz Blackberries Fresh or frozen
  • 2 oz White Rum Can substitute with Coconut Rum
  • 0.5 oz Lime Juice Freshly squeezed
  • 2 oz Cream of Coconut Can substitute with Coconut Cream
  • 1 cup Ice Crushed preferred
  • 1 cup Soda Water For fizz
For Decoration
  • 2 sprigs Mint For garnish
  • 2 slices Lime For garnish
  • 1 tbsp Lime Zest For rim
  • 2 tbsp Sugar For rim
  • 1 pinch Kosher Salt For rim

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Create a sugar-lime rim by mixing lime zest, sugar, and kosher salt in a shallow plate. Moisten the rim of your glass with lime and dip it into the mixture.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, muddle mint leaves and blackberries gently to release their flavors.
  3. Add white rum, lime juice, and cream of coconut to the shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  4. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint, a blackberry, and a lime wheel.
