Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Cook for 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Set aside.
  3. Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir continuously.
  4. Pour in crushed tomatoes and simmer on medium heat for 5 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Simmer gently for 2-3 minutes until creamy.
  6. Return chicken to skillet and mix well to coat in sauce.
  7. Add cooked pasta to skillet, tossing to combine with sauce.
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese over the mix, stirring until melted and creamy.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil and red pepper flakes, if desired. Serve immediately.
