  • 2 cups penne pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
