Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth or white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Red pepper flakes optional, for heat

Method
 

  1. Sauté the Shrimp: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add shrimp, season with salt, paprika, and black pepper, and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Make the Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth (or white wine) and let it reduce for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the Cream & Cheese: Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Combine Everything: Return the shrimp to the skillet, add lemon juice, and stir to coat in the creamy garlic sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or with bread.

  • Use fresh or frozen shrimp (thawed) for this recipe.
  • Swap heavy cream for half-and-half for a lighter version.
