Ingredients
  

  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • cups heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley optional
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  4. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and whisk until smooth.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet and add cooked pasta. Toss to combine.

Notes

  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Use fresh grated Parmesan for best texture.
  • Avoid overcooking shrimp—they cook quickly.
  • Add steamed broccoli or spinach for more nutrients.
  • Can substitute half-and-half for a lighter version.
