  • 1 teaspoon cumin optional for milder flavors

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for sautéing
  • 1 medium onion diced; can use shallots for a milder taste
  • 2 cloves garlic freshly minced

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add one diced onion and two cloves of minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion turns translucent.
  3. Season 1 pound of chicken breasts with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the seasoned chicken to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Reduce heat to low, pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, stirring well, and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm over rice or with bread.
