Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Flautas
  1. Warm the 7-inch flour tortillas in a damp paper towel for about 20 seconds in the microwave until soft and pliable.
  2. Lay out the warm tortilla and spoon a generous amount of the filling in the center, then carefully roll the tortilla tightly around the filling.
  3. Heat vegetable or canola oil in a large frying pan to approximately 350–375°F.
  4. Place 2-3 assembled chicken flautas in the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
