Step-by-Step Instructions
- Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil, then season the chicken with salt and pepper. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown, then transfer to the crock pot.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, butter, cream of chicken soup, garlic, chicken broth, and dressing mix. Whisk until smooth.
- Spray the interior of your crock pot with non-stick spray. Nestle the seared chicken at the bottom, then pour the creamy sauce over the top.
- Cover the crock pot and set to cook on low for 3-4 hours until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions, about 3-5 minutes until al dente.
- Serve the pasta tossed with the chicken and sauce, or plate the pasta separately and ladle the chicken and sauce on top.
- Garnish with parsley, cracked pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese as desired.

Notes
Always use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches 165°F. Avoid using frozen chicken without adjusting cooking times accordingly.
