Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix package instructions, typically around 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the boxed fudge brownie mix with the required ingredients as per the package, typically eggs, water, and melted butter. Mix well, then pour into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
  3. In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Whisk in the strawberry extract, heavy whipping cream, and powdered sugar until smooth. Pour the strawberry mixture over the cooled brownie base and spread evenly.
  4. In a separate saucepan, heat the heavy cream until lightly simmering. Remove from heat and pour over dark chocolate chips in a bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes, then whisk until smooth to create the ganache.
  5. Pour the ganache over the strawberry layer, ensuring an even spread. Let rest at room temperature for 30 minutes to set.
  6. Slice the brownies into squares, drizzle with chocolate syrup, and garnish with fresh strawberries.
