  • 1/4 cup Ground Hemp Seeds or Nuts/Seeds Ground almonds can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Optional, omit if not desired.
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder Helps to leaven the brownies.

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a 9x6-inch (or 8x8-inch) pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, blend together cooked sweet potatoes, ripe bananas, and plant-based milk until smooth.
  3. Add in ground oats, sugar, cocoa powder, ground hemp seeds (or nuts/seeds), cinnamon if using, and baking powder; blend until smooth and sticky.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick.
  6. Allow brownies to cool in pan for 20-30 minutes before lifting out and slicing.
  7. Cut into squares and enjoy, optionally topped with vegan chocolate sauce.
