Step-by-Step Instructions for Crispy Air Fryer Dehydrated Strawberries
  1. Start by washing the fresh strawberries under cool water to remove any dirt or impurities. Pat them dry thoroughly with a clean towel. Remove the green stems and leaves, then slice the strawberries into even ¼ to ⅜ inch thick slices.
  2. Set your air fryer to preheat at 180°F. If your air fryer doesn’t go that low, you can use 200°F instead. Allow it to heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Carefully place the sliced strawberries in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap.
  4. Insert the basket into the preheated air fryer and set a timer for 1 hour. Halfway through, around the 30-minute mark, open the air fryer and gently flip the strawberry slices.
  5. Once the timer goes off, carefully remove the basket and check the strawberries. If they are still slightly chewy, continue air frying in 5-minute increments until fully dried. Allow the dehydrated strawberries to cool completely.
  6. After cooling, transfer the crispy dehydrated strawberries to an airtight container. Store them in a cool, dry place or in the refrigerator.
