Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash and pit the fresh cherries or thaw frozen cherries for about 30 minutes.
  2. Blend pitted cherries with 2 cups of filtered water and ¾ cup of cane sugar until smooth.
  3. Strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl or pitcher.
  4. Add the remaining 1 cup of water and freshly squeezed lime juice to the cherry juice and stir well.
  5. Chill the mixture, serve over ice, and garnish with fresh lime slices.
