Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes. Add onion and garlic, cooking until onion softens.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning, then add tomato sauce, black beans, and corn. Simmer on medium-low for 5 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. Layer crushed tortilla chips in the dish, add half the beef mixture, then half the cheese. Repeat layers.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
  6. Let casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. Top with sour cream and green onions.
