  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries ripe and sweet
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar or honey/agave
For the Mimosa
  • 2 ounces Natalie's Orange Juice freshly squeezed
  • 3 ounces Prosecco chilled
  • ¾ ounce Strawberry Syrup prepared
  • 1 piece Fresh Strawberries for garnish
  • 3 ounces Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wine for mocktail version

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash, hull, and chop 2 cups of fresh strawberries. Combine with 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil, then simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool for about 15 minutes. Strain through a fine sieve into a jar, discarding the pulp.
  3. In a chilled wine glass, pour 2 ounces of Natalie’s orange juice, then add 3 ounces of chilled Prosecco. Drizzle ¾ ounce of prepared strawberry syrup on top.
  4. Garnish with a fresh strawberry on the rim. Serve immediately.
