  1. Begin by selecting a ripe cantaloupe, cut it in half, scoop out the seeds, and peel the skin away. Chop into medium-sized chunks.
  2. In a high-powered blender, combine the chopped cantaloupe and freshly grated ginger. Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds or until liquefied.
  3. Place a fine mesh strainer over a bowl. Pour the blended mixture into the strainer and press the juice through with a spoon.
  4. Pour the juice into a large pitcher. Add the juice of 2 limes and 1 lemon, and stir to combine. Add sweetener if desired.
  5. Fill glasses with ice and pour the Cantaloupe Agua Fresca over. Optionally, add tequila and garnish with a lime wedge.
